Working with a variety of mediums shapes my creative practice: fibre, threads, beads, pencil, ink and water colour are used with paper and fabric. My early work with clay and the influence of childhood memories are also present in my planned, experimental and spontaneous play with these materials. Environmental sustainability and the positioning of women continue to inform my practice as do current events and the technological revolution of AI. A resultant sense of human vulnerability often sits beneath my work. This nexus always bring new challenges, an essential element in my practice.
